Windsock Frame (6") The 6"-10" frames are constructed of powder coated steel for maximum durability and designed to be light weight for ease of maneuverability in light winds. Frame kits include a mounting collar that is designed to fit over any pipe with OD < 1 inch. We also carry an 18" frame that will fit over any pipe with an OD < 1.75 inches.
Mounting Instructions:
Instructions for Mounting 6”- 12” Windcone Frames
- Place mounting collar onto pole (outer diameter of pole must be less than 1”. Or less than the inner diameter of the mounting collar) and firmly fasten the collar screw to the pole.
- Place the coiled portion of the frame onto the pole so that it rests on top of the mounting collar.
- Windcone should be tied to the hoop of the frame using weather resistant rope or cable ties. Note: Our windcones are NOT designed to be threaded onto the hoop of the frame.
