Description
The latest edition of the ASA Flight Planner Pad was created for preflight planning and in-flight tracking on both domestic and international flights. The front side provides input spaces for preflight information such as planned course, altitude, predicted winds, en route checkpoints, compass headings, estimated times, fuel, navaid frequencies, and terminal information such as field elevation, runway information, and communication frequencies. The back includes a preflight pilot checklist, weight and balance computation table, PIREP guidance, and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)'s flight plan format. Starting 1 October 2015, the FAA is implementing a regulation that all flight planning for civil aircraft must be filed exclusively under the ICAO format. This transition will simplify the process of filling flight plans and allign United States flight plans with ICAO standards. This pad contains 48 sheets and the pages measure 8.5 inches by 11 inches and has a tear-off sheet binding.
